Skillman has been selected by CEDEFOP, European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training as one of the most relevant projects for Sectoral Cooperation on Skills and has been invited to the workshop on Skills anticipation methods and practices that will take place the next 14th and 15th of June in Thessaloniki (Greece).
The event aims at presenting skills anticipation methods and how to put them into practice providing concrete strategies to support national stakeholders in the identification of learning needs. For this reason, three methods of skills anticipation (e.i. technological skills foresights, sectorial-based skills anticipation tools and the implementation and practical steps of setting up tracer studies) will be the focus of the workshop.
The sectoral skills model elaborated by Skillman will be presented in the session ‘Building on skill foresights: sector-based skills anticipation’ by Giovanni Crisoná. The presentation will address first the potential of the project and the initiative carried out in its first three years life, to secondly focus on the model and its application.
